Part 6: Christian Prayers and Scripture
(1) St. Patrick’s Prayer
Christ be with me,
Christ within me,
Christ behind me,
Christ before me,
Christ beside me,
Christ win me,
Christ to comfort
And restore me.
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ in quiet,
Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts
Of all who love me,
Christ in mouth
Of friend and stranger.
(2) Not I but Christ...Hymn
Not I but Christ,
Be honored, praised exalted,
Not I but Christ,
Be seen, be known be heard,
Not I but Christ,
In every look and motion,
Not I but Christ
In ever thought and word.
(3) Deidra Price Prayer +
Lord Jesus Christ,
Thy Son of God I Am,
My own Eternal Self,
Live Thou Thy Life in me,
Do Thou Thy Will in me,
Be Thou made flesh in me.
I have no will but Thine,
I have no Self but Thee.
Come forth, give birth,
I am willing to be born of the Spirit.
I have no will but Thine,
I have no Self but Thee.
(4) “Father God, in Thy Love and in Thy Mercy,
Be Thou near unto me Now, that I may choose
To Do and Be What Thou would have me Be at
This time. I ask it in the name of the Christ who
Promised to be near when we called.”
(5) Lord make me an Instrument of Thy Peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow Love,
Where there is injury, pardon,
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness, light, light,
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not
So much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
It is in dying to self that we are born to
Eternal Life.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
