To those pragmatic, intellectual or predominately left-brained folks, of which I am one to a fault (See Rich Note Bellow).

Please don't miss the "heady wine" I assure awaits, simply because you have difficulty relating to the Ultimate Reality in a personal way (i.e. Lord, Master, Christ, God, etc.) or simply because you are "turned off" by religion in general. In this regard, perhaps a game or two will help. See Wine Menu for additional comments.]

Instructions (for those who use them):

Simply press one of the buttons in each line (or as many as you like, using Other to vote no to those Names, and substitute your key Word or Composite whenever I use one of those Words somewhere on the site. The Word you choose simply does not matter. What does matter, and is of the ultimate importance, is your fundamental relationship with that One Immanent, Transcendant, Incarnate Reality that each and all of these Words, to a greater or lessor degree, represent. Call It Him, She, It or That, but rest assured it will answer to any name you give it. (SEE several of many possible approaches -- they are only limited by your imagination -- below)

Suggestions (for those who take them):

(1) Build a composite of what you believe your Reality to be, how you relate to He, She, It or I, and then simply substitute that for a any particular Name I use that you can't relate to or don't like.

(2) As I watch this little "Cosmic Game" arise, it strikes me that it might provide some valuable insight into ones true philosophy (i.e.fundamental belief with respect to our relation to Reality, etc.)

(3) Another way to "play this game" might be to ask yourself what you really want out of life, and then choose one "item from each category" from the Cosmic menu.

(4)Yet another, for those who want input a more subconscious or generic answer, might be to defocus and just start "filling in the dots" from top to bottom.

(5) A final way -- not really, there are probably a lot more, but I have to stop having fun and move on-- would be to start with some kind of a declarative statement that suits you -- something like "I believe that Life... Existence... Being...The Ultimate Reality is.......... -- and just start pushing buttons to complete a declarative statement or witness as to what your true belief is with regard to this Reality and your relationship to it.

Statement of Purpose:

In any event, the idea is to realize that the One God, the Ultimate Reality, the Unified Field ,or Whatever, is in no way limited by your words and ideas about He, She, It (HSI), only YOU ARE!!! For what we, as spiritually immature states of reflective self-consciousness, are dealing with is an infinitely creative medium that is perfectly plastic to our every thought.

[Rich Note: I am one of you!!! Thou I may have slipped my "intellectual traces" more than the average bear, I can assure you that I am, was and probably always be "stuck in my head" to some degree. Even now, after 30 years on the path, and certainly knowing better, I still tend to love God more as Truth than as God {no loss to God, but a big loss to me, for it is an abstract and impersonal way to relating to God that keeps Him at a nice safe, mental distance.]
